Shocking Video Reveals Point Officers Suffer Blade Attacks in Surprise Attack

The Two Senior Officers Instants Prior to the Attacker Received Electric Shock

A senior officer who jumped to the help of a fellow officer that got attacked by a blade-wielder received the Monarch's Honor for Bravery.

Sgt Tim Ansell struggled against twenty-seven-year-old Jacob Brown following he placed a blade to the neck of his colleague Sergeant Marc Foster.

Brown launched his attack as the law enforcement personnel and their third officer, PC Marcus Wolstencroft, were conversing to a driver following a road collision in that location in July 2023.

Brown attacked with blade both Sergeant Ansell and Sgt Foster prior to Police Constable Wolstencroft stopped him with a Taser.

"Policeman stabbed," PC Wolstencroft could be heard saying over his radio.

Officer-mounted and dashboard camera footage released by the police department showed Brown, who was dressed in dark clothing with a hood up, run up to Sergeant Foster from behind with a blade pointed forward.

He collided with the policeman who stumbled and fell to the ground, after which Sgt Ansell intervened and tried to wrestle him to the pavement even though being multiple times hit with the blade.

PC Wolstencroft Incapacitated the Assailant, Jacob Brown, with a Stun Gun

Police Constable Wolstencroft drew his Taser and waited for a clear shot, bringing the struggle to an end.

Sergeant Ansell was heard stating: "Can I get assistance on my neck here, I got knifed in the neck."

Sergeant Ansell sustained multiple lacerations to his throat and further injuries to his arms and body, whereas Sergeant Foster received cut injuries.

Officials stated Sergeant Foster used his bare hands to control his colleague's hemorrhaging before medical personnel came.

The new honor follows after the three officers received internal Courage Honors in late 2023 and the prestigious bravery honor from the local Police Federation in early 2024.

They further earned a Area Bravery Award in mid-2024.

"The responses of the entire team ultimately rescued one another and ensured no civilians suffered any wounds."

Brown received a sentence to an indefinite hospital order in spring 2024, as stated by authorities.
